In this article, we'll detail the two visas that we have been able to obtain. Thanks to my job, I have (Lény) obtained a work visa (VITEM V) for a period of two years. For its part, Yaëlle has made the application ofa visa for family reunification (VITEM XI), which is attached to my work visa and, therefore, has the same validity period.
The visa application is a process that can be lengthy, it is best to plan accordingly and prepare for it in advance.
The first step to get a work visa is to find a brazilian company ready to hire you.
The company will then begin the process by submitting an application for authorization to work in the government within the "Ministério da Justiça e Segurança Pública" (MJS).

Visa for family reunification allows members of the immediate family (spouse, children, parents) to join a brazilian citizen or an alien who holds a residence permit in Brazil. This visa also allows you to work legally in Brazil.

Important : recently, birth certificates must be apostilled. The apostille is a certification that validates your documents for use internationally. You can request the certificate from the court of appeal, which depends on your local city of birth.
